Hi, time for me to refinish the exterior wood, what have you guys\gals used that lasted a very long time and durable?

I used minwax teak oil on mine. the first few times i did 2 coats and after a month in the sun it was faded. this spring i had 5 coats on it and it looked much better. after a month it still looked good but you could see some fading. i sold the boat a month ago so not sure how it looks now

They have different shades.

No teak on this boat but had it on my old one.
I used a two step cleaner to get all the old oil and dirt out of it then applied Sikkens Natural Teak to it that Golfman pictured above.
Every year or so I would hit it lightly with some 150 grit sandpaper just to scuff it and then I would apply another coat of the Sikkens. It always looked fantastic.

sickens #1 IMO wont touch it for years

Replaced it with stainless rails. No regrets.
