Thanks! We were there at the end of October. We did drive to the North shore and those waves were really nice! Not sure what was going on but the streets were packed with cars and we saw some local TV crews out there too. As far as the boat trip goes we left the Marina and headed North past Electric beach and ended up at some small town. I can’t remember the name, but the boat captain told us it was the birth place of surfing on the island. Here’s a picture maybe you’ll recognize it? And yes the Sunsets were amazing at the resort. Pictures don’t do it justice. BYW, I’ve always noticed Oahu in your signature and have always been a bit jealous of you.Well, Aloha....I'm usually on that volcano this time of year, but took a detour....
What a fantastic story, and congrats...The Four Seasons, while way out of the way, is one of the nicest properties on Oahu...Personally, I think one of the best places for sunsets...
I've been to that marina and thought about leaving a boat there. Very nice...And FYI, Ellison usually keeps his vessel there.
While true, the swells pick up in the winter, the south side is usually tame....North shore, not so much...Perhaps you had an opportunity to drive up there? What was your route / destination when you were on the SR?
The waters out there are no joke...You're in a 1000'+ water soon after you leave the channel...
