Huge thank you to Tim! I have been looking for one of these since I bought my boat. I kept bumping mine and using super glue to temp fix it. As much as I should buy a new vhf, this one works good and my lake is so small, it’s not a high priority.

I leaned on mine this week and you know it, cracked again!

Go out to the mail box today, there it is!

Fairly simple install of the Ray Marine radio. Electronics are smaller so the hole the 22yo Raytheon left was larger than what was needed for the new one. An adapter plate was required. I also installed a “fume detector” as you can never be too safe on a gasser. It detects gasoline fumes and CO and sounds an alarm if present.
