You posted something about a bad day and Morgan Freeman narrating it ... I liked that post because it's so true!
That did go through? Kept timing out and giving an error

Yep, posted. I keep getting posting timeouts and such all of the time with the new server. Especially in the mornings. Can't even log on at times. Usually clears up in the afternoon and then it fly's.

Just remember, when Danny DeVito starts narrating, it’s time to nope yourself back to the truck. Go directly home and make a triple old-fashioned

I can't believe "New Jersikstan" let them put their name (jersey mikes) on that sorry ass POS they call a Sub!
I May have missed something not having cable…

But if you want a real Jersey deli sub sandwich that thuds when it hits the counter, you gotta go to Lenny’s Market in Silverton(Toms River) NJ

We got a club sub for the ride to Florida and we were good off that for the 27 hour haul towing. Probably 2+ pounds of boars head turkey and 1/3 pound of bacon. $17 (5/2021)

Sure do miss the Jersey food. Deli, Italian and especially the Pizza. That’s about all I miss….
The food, and acceleration off a green light

Well, my water pump was ok in the genset. I just sucked some debris up and clogged the intake. So now I have a new impeller and drive sleeve to add to my cruising spares box.

Unfortunately “little satan” is back to its old tricks with the incendiary charging system. Apparently my battery charge AVR went reactor #4 the same night as the clog. That’s on order now too.

I think the bilge temperature is just too damn hot. I leave the blower on whenever any equipment is running to help move air, but it’s still gets above 140 down there sometimes when the ambient is pushing 100 to begin with

When I install the new regulator, I’m going to stack a few washers behind it, so it has air space on both sides because it currently bolts against the controller bulkhead

I really can never get away from generators!

I suspect there may have actually been open flame here for a moment

I’m really not sure why I keep having this issue, other than the temperature. The charging coil is testing within the specs. Clear to ground 35 V AC at 360 Hz

I keep coming back to it just being a temperature and failed component issue since it didn’t even pop the 15 amp charging fuse

Man, I feel an entirely different kind of filthy than I like even considering a solution like this…

I feel even dirtier after paying $432 for the replacement housing that should be here next week.

Watch where your heels go when you’re in the bilge in a huff…

I think this may have been the most expensive 2 months since I ordered the electronics package! So far I am in for:

2x SeaBlaze X2
Hardin stainless pump
Water distribution housing - stupid tax
Bravo 3 blade prop fix/repitch - 1/2 stupid tax
Bravo 4 blade prop repitch
Generator charging AVR
Detailing
2x Group 31 batteries
Piling repairs

And I just got a $5800 estimate for canvas and cockpit Upholstery

Apparently my trailer needs 9 new tires as well :D

Boats…

Still averages out way cheaper than the monthly payments over a year for a financed boat that would start needing all the same crap in five years anyway

After posting about how great my batteries were doing in the battery thread, one of them decided to let go…

Swag collected. I should have a fully operational boat by Saturday.

With the exception of the failed underwater light that I will not be purchasing until the next scheduled haul for gear oil

A trailer for a boat that has 9 tires? Not sure I have ever seen one of those

New water distribution manifold installed! New generator AVR installed and charging so I’ve got 13.2+ despite everything being on! I replaced the idler pulley but they gave me the wrong tensioner pulley

You gotta watch that edge on freshly reconditioned props changing them in the water.

Hopefully these 4 blades that got repitched hit the mark and don’t need more tuning

I think I need to get another half inch of pitch or some cupping in the four blades. They definitely hold higher trim without porpoising but the numbers aren’t where I want them to be.

I also think 36 is the fastest this boat will ever go
