Hello CSR members,

I want to tell a story about the power of CSR.
Found out that one PART of the fresh water manifold was leaking water.
I could not buy this part in all Europe, and then found a post where a USA member with the same problem wrote that also Marine max did not sell this anymore.
They wanted him to purchase a new manifold for $800.
After a research he found out that this manifold was manufactured by Seatech. They don't carry this product or parts any longer.
He found on FP marine they had the old type of manifold which he purchased and only used one of the tee fittings. The others he kept for spares.
So with this info, I send this member a pm through CSR.
The member wrote back in a few hours that he want to help me, and send me some of his spare parts....
For only the freight cost and that I would buy him a cup of tea when I visit him in NY....

THIS MEMBER IS ROCKET.

You can understand that I am very thankful, that this great guy wanted to help me!!

Also I think this is the proof, that CSR is really powerful and there are some great members here.

Thanks Rocket!!!!! :smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038

That’s awesome, good going Rocket….

Great story...I had the same experience with LAZY DAZE who helped me out with a rope lanyard for my anchor chock last spring. CSR and its Members ROCK!!!

Stories like this happen daily. Just yesterday I got a PM regarding a 300 for sale. Although I haven't posted anything on my quest for a 300 or 340 in a month or so, a member gave me a heads up of one that just hit the market really close. These are just small examples of why I went "Platinum". CSR family :)

Yes, Lazy Daze helped me as well with a used (but almost new) table for my boat. CSR is a great place for help/advice/friends.

Thanks again Dennis!

Both Franks have helped me with issues. Then there are the tons of information everyone posts about boat and sometimes non boat related topics.
Best site out there today!!

DPMULVEY and HENRY BOYD who helped me to enlarge my trim tabs and got back the real performance of my boat.

HENRY BOYD and LAZYDAZE helped me for holding tank and air conditioner projects

BONBINI, OLDSKOOL, LORD FARRINGTON, PIETRO, TURTLESBOAT, CHRIS1960 gave lots of their precious thoughts and advices for my acceleraiton/injector problem

PRESENTATION, JIMG, HENRY BOYD for solving my leaking windshield problem.

I'm so happy to found CSR and being a member of it.

It's definitely great to help out. I've received some great support or items and I've done a few favors as well. As long as everyone's respectful it's a great network. I will be sending Danmili a switch and Douglee some snaps here soon.

TODD - YOU ARE THE MAN!

Thanks, buddy!

And there's also a link on the top of the page that reads "support the site" that helps keep the site running. Just in case anyone want's to help out too.

My wife doesn't like this site at all. I think that's what she said anyways...I was checking new posts and wasn't really listening!
