This Old Garage: Show us your garage

Seeing all the garage pics posted from time to time, all those nice looking clean floors, reminds me of the time....I went over to a friends house one morning, we got to consuming some smilers, all day long, into the evening, sort of a christening of his new garage. When we ran out of beer it was time to go home, I got on my bike and layed down some rubber across the floor, out the door I went.

It's been about 35yrs now, you can still see some remnants and he's still pissed about it....at least I didn't do no driftin' in there:p:D

This is the only place in the entire house I'm allowed to decorate. It's also the only place in the house without pillows.

Shortly after I finished my garage my brother in law pulled his studded snowmobile in to do some work on it without telling me. When he pulled out he spun his track. Do you know what kind of damage a studded track does to concrete? He’s now my ex brother in law and I haven’t seen him in years. But every time I walk into my garage I get pissed off at him.

I changed the oil in the 335i in the garage recently, tight fit, but it was cold and raining. I forget to remove the plug in the plastic oil container; so as it started to drain from the oil pan to the plastic container, it filled up and overflowed. Well it had nowhere to go except all over the garage floor, 5 1/2 quarts of oil. You could eat dinner off of that floor before then.

I changed the oil in the daily drivers a few weeks ago. The 2nd car, after successfully doing the first one, I did that again...

I spy a Yamaha banner back there. Whatcha got?

Before settling into Honda's I used to spend quite a lot of time horsing around with KX's, RM's and of course YZ's. Once I picked up my first CR it was all over, though. I worked from 2 stroke 125's eventually up to the CRF450. During that time I could never find a Honda banner so I held on to the Yamaha rig. I liked the color better than red in my garage anyway. ha

The summer after buying my 340DA I sold my beloved CRF450X. Not enough time to do all the fun things in such a short summer, especially with young kids. Though we did ride the bikes in winter too. Sledders loved seeing us on the mixed use trails.

That 450 was sooooo cold blooded I had to use a propane heater to get it to fire on the really cold days. Man I do miss that bike...

hahah now that's a block heater! You MI guys are luckier than us, private land only in NYS aside from a very specific public use OHV area in one county. Gotta love this state....

Bought the little guy a ttr50 this year (yes, this is a green Yami. The Kawasaki die hards will shiver but it’s his favorite color)and I'll chase him around on my WR. It's 65* in Rochester today, riding season will be upon us very soon

I'd love to jump on one of those CRFX's, I've heard very good things. the newer YZ250F-X and YZ450F-X are interesting too

My friend and I had to kick the ceiling up for the lift. I then painted it, had the floor done, then installed all the cabinets. Once my truck and my wife's car is in it's pretty tight with 4 bikes sprinkled around.

I would kill for some of the garage space y'all have. I'd also be broke, so there's that silver lining

amazing collection you’ve got there. Do the cars slide literally out of the lift? Hard to tell but it doesn’t look like they could pull forward or back

bikes are sweet!
