This summers gas prices....

Hahahah, it seems that I'm the only sane one here, and all the rest of yous guys are the ones that are wound tight.

If sports rivalries are what turns y'all on, then go for it.
Ummm, Jim, have you been stuck in a cave your whole life? Never heard of sports rivalries? Dang, man, where y'all been? Every place I've lived (except for Alaska in the early 70's) sports rivalries have been a way of life.

Yup, I'm guessing you are the only sane one here. And you just keep thinking that my friend.

Wowzers.

Couldn’t have said it better GFC. He must’ve been to focused on that next deal to take a look around at a little thing called “life.”

We call 'em FIPS in Michigan. F'ing Illinois People. Mostly because of the way they drive :)

Ohh and I most confess my kids (who think FIP's is "Funny Illinois People") recently came up with FOP's for Ohio. So...now we have that one to use too I guess...

I get a kick out of this thread.

I paid $0.55 for a packet of ranch dressing in our cafe yesterday. Up from $0.50 last year. Atrocious. I blame Russia though.

:)
Well to be fair, that is a 10% increase. While not much in absolute dollars, it is a significant rise in cost.

When he became President gas was $1.39 in Indiana. Today it is Fcking $3.79

Last Saturday gas increased 22 cents. After last nights speech it increased another 20 cents.

Luckily my Suburban is full. If it was close to empty it would cost me $159.00. 42 gallon tank. I love driving it but nowadays I usually only drive it when I tow my camper or the boat. May be 3000 miles a year.

People. Get out and vote!

This is hurting a lot of folks. It will keep multiplying. Cost of all goods will HAVE to increase.

Please someone send me that sticker that shows “I did that.”

yeah, $79 a pound. Welcome to the keys.
We are back at the conch republic today. Here they catch their own seafood… shrimp, fish and stone crab etc. I got talking to the manager about stone crab he said they weren’t catching it…. Price was to high…. He said $90/lb. I said but you catch it yourself. He said yes but it’s regulated and everyone has their hands out before it hits the table. I said so what’s the trigger where you don’t do it…. He wouldn’t tell me…. But it sounded like he wasn’t benefiting with the increase in price and the customer was getting screwed and other people were getting the profits.
