I liked this run better at 2.97 per gallon

4.38 here. up from 4.19 yesterday

Looked at a boat about two weeks ago, owner wasn't kidding when he said it's full of fuel and that's worth something these days.....
'Reminds me of a Jeff Foxworthy saying, that "You might be a redneck if the blue book value of your truck changes by how full the tank is." I guess that makes me and my boat a redneck. Let's see; 120 gallons of gas, no. I CAN'T GO ON!

Well, they raised it again. $4.60 on the way to taking my daughter to the airport so I figured I was at a half tank, I would buy it on the way back to the rv park. They hiked it 20 cents during that time. So did the rest of them, the place down the street was almost $5.

$115 got me 24 gallons, exactly half of a tank.
In my truck, that’s $70 more per tank full than when we left home end of December. That’s just a pick up truck. Transport industry is going to be handing down some big increased costs. Skyrocketing inflation, then the recession.

Man...this thread makes me think I'm sitting on a gold mine of 300 gallons of cheap fuel. I'm starting to wonder if I should take half the summer off, go full on dock queen with my boat and sell my gas to the highest bidder!

90 octane ethanol free....liquid gold...sitting in my tanks...

Shhhh. We might need locking fuel tank caps.

I gonna run mine the same as last year, ~200 hrs. Life is to short.
I agree RBB……just think of all the less congestion on the waterways this summer as the “Dock Queens” grow in numbers. It will be like the highways in the summer of 2020.

I certainly hope you are right. But our experience in the Summer of 2020 was just the opposite.

Lots of people took driving vacations instead of flying. Our roads were more congested than ever.

Also, many people bought boats and that made the waterways crowded with clueless newbies. We actually had to do all of our boating on weekdays because it was much safer.
