Ok, this has to be the year when we finally get to see this movie. Top Gun was our families favorite movie and both my girls loved it. Tom (we all know about him) has historically been great in these type of movies. Let's hope for the release this spring. It will be the top grossing movie of the year.
 
Fingers crossed over here. Can't wait to see it.
 
At this point I fear it can only disappoint. Two years of hype and anticipation? This cannot end well.

Speaking of...I wonder when the next Avatar is coming out :)
 
I guess I hadn’t heard about this being done, I wonder if fat Val Kilmer, or butt ugly Kelly mcgillis will make an appearance?
 
I saw the 1st Top Gun with my Grandfather so there's some sentimental value. The trailers for Top Gun 2 look great. I was hoping it was coming out last year.
 
One of the trailers I saw showed how Tom and other "pilots" had to ride back seat so they could get the facial expressions from deck launches and high G maneuvers. You could hear them gasping for breath! It would be neat to see that added in the movie as well.
 
I think the trailer came out during the superbowl two years ago... Val didn't want to be in the movie but was forced due to his contract to make a second movie
 
I wouldn’t cross the street to piss on Tom Cruise if he was on fire. There’s no way in hell I’m going send my hard earned dollars to him via this movie. He’s a piece of shit and honestly, from what I’ve learned about some of you from other threads, I’m surprised you’d spend money on him too.

Haha as soon as I hit “post reply” I knew someone would say “tell us how you really feel.” I think I’ve been known to post how I really feel before - this ain’t new :D
