My 2006 SD 280 with twin 4.3L touchpads (or switch pads) have worked intermittently last two weekends and now do not work at all. I used a multi meter to check the voltage going through both the fwd and aft EIM (electronic interface modules) and both are powered. Removed the touchpads and checked the wire harness and voltage to each was correct. The Starboard Pad did show some cracks on the rear of the pad. Have check grounds on batteries and grounds through out and all are good. I have purchased both pads and EIM's and installed all...and they worked briefly and then quit working. The touch pads do power up with green lights when the main power is turned on. Any suggestions?
