How deep does the water need to be to launch a 2007 240DA from the trailer? I live on the Atlantic Intercoatal Waterway and my boat ramp of choice is only 3 houses down from me. I have launched 21 foot pontoons and 24 ft center console deep v but never a Sea Ray of this size.

I know what the draft is just curious if anyone had real world experience launching. The depth changes from 2 ft to 4 ft depending on the tide.

Need more info. The higher the boat sits on the trailer, the deeper the water needs to be to float it off.

Measure from the ground to the water line and you have a good starting point.

With a roller trailer, you can roll it off before it floats, be sure everything is good because you may not be able to get it back on the trailer should a problem arise (drain plug)

The angle of the launch, length of the tow vehicle (rear wheels), and trailer length all come into play.

Back it up until you would loose traction and she if she floats. Of course you’re committed at this point.

I have a 240 da I usually wait for high tide, then put the trailer in the water to cover the fenders on the trailer completely in the water.
