To alleviate some difficulty I am having with stiff engine controls I am considering upgrading the cables/controls to zero friction cables. Has anyone replaced their controls and/or cables? Is their a good resource/manufacturer available? Thanks.

Before you spend a lot of money on new cables, take a look at every place your existing cables are supported. We all tend to crawl all over our engine rooms and not pay much attention to where we step. All it takes id a slight bend in one of the red jacket cables to make the cable bind. The problems are usually at a supporting point where the cable cannot flex. If you see any bends, try straightening them and see if that helps your stiff cables.
