Transom Trim Switch

I want to install a Mercruiser Transom Trim Switch on my 2004 185 Sport but when searching I notice there are two different part numbers. Anyone know which one I need to order?

Basically, find and determine the type of connector your pump uses. The newer part (87-815200A02) has a flat 3 pin Packard connectors at the pump. The older part (87-815200A 1) has round 3 blade connectors at the pump.

I added on of these last summer on my 2005 185. The flat 3pin connector was the one I needed and should be the one that works for you as well.

Best invention, I can not beleive how many times I can not believe how many times I have used the trim switch, keeps from climbing in the boat all the time.
