TRUMP 2024

So more dem dim-wittery...Allegheny County Executive (newly elected) declared she was going to create satellite mail in ballot drop locations through selected locations (selected by her) and said she did not need anyones approval to do it. Well she was wrong and it being sued by a member of the electoral board.

Anyone remember the left trying to increase the size of the SC to add members chosen by them in order to bypass law and shift the balance to their side? Also trying to skirt voter laws they are counting illegals in the census to gain electoral votes. These 'cheaters' will stop at nothing to try to gain an advantage in the elections
I have no idea what you are writing about, "trying to increase the size of the SC". Are you writing about redistricting? The GOP has been the masters of redistricting for the 20 years.

FYI, it behooves cities, counties and states to count everybody within their jurisdiction. They receive more federal money in addition to receiving more representation. The big push to count everybody came in 2010 national census. I don't remember where the movement started but once started, probably CA, all states began counting.

I had a bunch of friends who worked as census takers and they told stories of the difficulty of tracking down illegals.

If you are writing about the Alleghany County, SC, why are you worrying, SC makes everybody show identification to vote.

Actually was a good ruling for Trump today. Any credibility Fani had is now gone. She will have to recluse herself from the trial or suffer a humiliating not guilty verdict. Either of which is a win for Trump
This is correct. I believe there will be an ethics investigation or a special investigator assigned to look into whether fanny and her boy toy perjured themselves under oath. With subpoena power we could see their text messages, and possibly
How purely political in nature these charges are.

I will say one thing, trump is extremely lucky the people coming after him seem to be complete morons.

Supreme Court
Drooling moron.
Up till now Scotus has been used in this thread . I was confused because there is an Alleghany county in South Carolina. I was looking to relocate to the southeast from the southwest, it will be nice to be closer to the boat.

And thanks for the compliment. Drooling moron, shows you do not have any info to confute my information.

The judge found only an implied conflict of interest and said one of them should recluse themselves. She will get a conviction, this is the case that Trump has to absolutely delay till after November but that's provided he wins in November and he's not going to win.
First of all the word is recuse. A recluse is something else entirely. Secondly, the judge did not follow the law or legal ethics. If there is even "the appearance of a conflict" all the affected parties need to recuse themselves. That is both law and a basic tenant of legal ethics. And before the libtards start attacking, I spent 6 years dealing with conflicts for the law firm I was CFO of.

Glad that, as a canadian, have done a thorough legal review of the case and determined that Fani has a slam dunk case. Please inform the uninitiated among us, what charges must be proven to win a conviction in a RICO case?

Woody, I think the italics are line out the gist of Trump's of opposition, going into the election. The Elephant in the room and perhaps the biggest stumbling block to Trump's reelection will be Republicans not Dems. The CO suit was brought by respected, retired, Republican legislator. True conservatives have been appalled by Trump's message and behavior.

Before the rest of your crew get all in a twist, Trump is not and never was a conservative. He was elected to be a change agent. The conservative dogma is "tried and true" which Trump has been destroying. Pence, who might be the most steeped in conservative dogma is publically not supporting Trump. I know he was run out of the primaries early because of his staid message, of honesty and integrity and that in addition of tried and true is the essence of conservatism.

Too bad there are not "12 million plus illegals", a lot of people have been looking into Trump's numbers but none can come close, 4-5 million is the current guess.

It would be interesting to know what the positive economic benefit of immigrants and if there is a different positive value between legal and illegal. Last century in San Diego they did an economic study of illegal immigration and it was estimated that every man, woman and child in SD had a $10,000 benefit, I've tried to find the study but have no luck. Have you ever seen naked, emaciated immigrants walking? You don't because they all buy clothes, food and most at the time lived in houses.

Now not all was wine and roses, they also calculated that there was a $50 cost to every man, woman and child in SD county at the time. Just like native born Americans, immigrants are not all on the up and up.

In this century, the cost figure is higher, because we make it extremely difficult for honest people, to even get a green card, let alone continue on the path to citizenship. The I-9 was the blunt tool that changed the good time for the US. If you remember when the newly minted ICE asked SS administration for the names of people working on fake SS numbers the SS refused. Because immigrants unable to get papers were paying into our system without hope of getting benefits. All that means is they were helping with our, yours and mine, retirements.

Do you really believe that the economy had nothing to do with what you accumulated? If you do and you are just on blowing hot air read Nassim Nicholas Taleb. He is considered the foremost philosopher, if you will, on the "mismatch between reality and statistical distributions used in finance". He writes dense books that take awhile to read. If you choose, I would like to talk to see if you still think hard work is all that was needed.

Ok, you are using bad AI. Even Biden's own people aren't disputing there have been 12M known illegals that entered under his watch, and that's just the ones that are "known". Unknown got aways aren't counted because the are, well, unknown.

There's no one "looking into Trump's numbers". They are published. Just ask your AI bot.

Dude, you have no idea what my circumstances are or how my wife and I came to accumulate what we did. It was hard work and independent of the economy at large. It had nothing to do with the stock market. Stick with what your AI bot knows.

Edit: And no I don't "believe that the economy had nothing to do with" it, I KNOW it didn't.

TLDR

Drooling bot moron.

I definitely have less discretionary funds than I did 4 years ago. And I have not heard a single person say they are better off today than 4 years ago but I hear a bunch saying how they are barely scraping by now. Not sure how anyone can say they are better off financially when everything we buy is up at least 20% but wages are up nowhere near that. I haven't got a raise in 3 years, not even COLA.

I also remember phone video of Wolfs first election where the votes on the screen would change. They were told it was not real and don't worry about it. Once Wolf who had zero real campaign with almost or no media interviews somehow won. Once that happened the elections process in PA had absolutely no transparency.
Don't forget Wolf ordering all non-essential businesses closed during COVID but gave the opportunity to apply for essential status. He used to own a cabinet making business and he ordered all related businesses closed except his former business. When the republicans demanded to see his list of campaign donors he changed his tune and made them lose also.
Then there was Beaver County. About 95% of all cases in Beaver County were all from 1 retirement home yet he made the county close down. When the DA said he will not prosecute any businesses that stay open Wolf threatened to withhold all state funding, including school lunch subsidies. A few weeks later he let every county open back up except Beaver County, who was ordered to remain locked down for an extra week. Tell me that wasn't political crap!

Didn't notice it thanks.

In Groegia the appreance of conflict is not grounds for her to be removed from the case. The judges written order did address what you said but I respect his decision over yours.

As for the RICO case a jury will decide that

Neither, a small screen and poor eyesight were the problem. I changed a sentence to make the it easier to read and thought the "are" was deleted. Sorry about that. The point of my response to Woody was the GOP is perhaps the biggest obstacle to Trump's reelection. Since I wrote that, I saw a headline of an article that said, "Trump warns that the streets will run red with blood if he is not reelected". That is very democratic.

You are correct, I apologize. I don't know your situation what do you do that you don't rely on the economy?

I took the bait and focused on your point "under Biden's watch". Sorry about that.

It is a very complicated answer. Department of Homeland Security (HS) estimated that there were 12 million living in the USA in 2015. The Pew research estimated 10 million in 2016. MIT estimated 22 million in 2016. Each organization uses mathematical models with different assumptions.

44% of the illegals are overstaying their visas and not coming across the border illegally.

As to 2022 Customs and Border Protection data, 2022 was a record with 3 million undocumented border crossings this year. That was why the GOP group that came up with a solution stem the tide and as importantly access money to pay for it was devastated by Trump's meddling.

The biggest difference is this year there are more people coming from deeper in South America to cross into the US. Unlike in past years when people came, worked for awhile and returned home the are now coming to stay.

Still can't find estimates that support your facts that 12 million crossed on Biden's time.

An aside, one of the reasons that the estimates are so varied is that until very recently an immigrant from Mexico would come stay and make money and return home. This migration adds to the number of crossings but not necessarily the number of people.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that I deleted all the extraneous words.
