You don't understand Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Couy Griffin does now. He was removed from office, Section 3 was used against him and on Trumps "I don't like Monday" the Supreme Court turned away his appeal of his removal from office. He's out of work and can never hold public office again.

The SCOTUS has decided it will not limit states citing section 3 for local office, regardless of whether or not the evidence supports that. This is a non-event.

How much time have you spent in your life dealing with US classified documents? I am pretty sure Canadians don't get that privilege. So how do you know what corrective actions will be needed IF the accusations are true?

Why do you call limiting the mortgage interest deduction a 'slap in the face'. Isn't that what Dems want?.... to make wealthy folks 'pay their fair share'.

I found one, "slap in the face" comment and it dealt with real estate industry as they felt he had broken their faith as they felt they were instrumental in getting him elected. Perhaps, making wealthy "pay their fair share" is a Dem attitude, I would have worded it, Dem's want their fair share and the wealthy have it.

Traditionally, Dem's have always been about the big federal gestures, social security for example. The GOP is about pushing programs closer to the local level. That is a simple overview of the philosophical differences between the 2 parties.

Planks, on the other hand, move between the parties. Immigration, for example, used to be owned by the Conservatives, wanting more immigration and the Liberals wanted none. Then the Dems recognized the benefits of immigration and took that plank over. Planks are often passed back and forth depending on what the individual parties think will help their chances. Plank movement makes historical evaluation difficult.

FYI I still haven't found any articles that promote the TCJA as a benefit to the wage earner.

Trump said he had the cash but now he doesn't. Trump said he has equity in everything but can't get a mortgage on his properties. Don Jr said a few years back that the Trumps don't need American banks as Russia loans them money, perhaps Putin can lend him the money.
