What happened with the 'diary' and Joe's shower habits. It seems the 'diary' really is a thing because they charged some people with stealing it. I may have missed it but don't recall anyone saying the 'shower' entries were fake news, seems like it just wasn't discussed at all.

His superpower is staying out of court by any means possible. Today he postponing trials and trying to bog down the ongoing trials to hopefully get reelected. Then it will give him some time to change laws to make him immune to prosecution.

Ordinarily, he drags out court proceedings until prosecutors move on to their next job. New prosecutors want to make their own name and don't follow up. That is why, it was a big deal, for the NY prosecutor, Letitia James to say she would stay and see Trump's case through to the end. BTW, the liberal press says this is the second time Trump has lost to this law. My guess that is why he is only trying to lower the amount and not discredit the law.

Trump, personally, has never done well in court. Statements have to be backed up with fact. He plays fast and loose with facts and only deals with his opinions. He lost to Carroll twice, which was basically a trial about Trump telling the truth about her. If the liberal press is to be believed, Trump's new comments are about to send him back to court for a 3rd time.

I think the Supreme Court is helping Trump's cause. In the CO case, the Supreme Court ruled quickly to keep Trump on the ballot in CO which translated into all states. In the Stormy trial, the Supreme Court is going to hear arguments on April 25. This drags that trial on and lowers financial pressure on Trump. The DOJ loves Trump.

This gives Trump some time to work on his money woes. The $355 million judgement is cramping Trump. He has burned most lenders. Deutsche Bank was embarrassed, when Trump's shenanigans became public. They are not going to touch him. While the thread maintains there was not damage to anyone, Deutsche Bank's reputation has taken huge hit.

If Trump declares personal bankruptcy, the who's who of creditors will be a bestseller.

Letitia James also campaigned on "getting Trump" without ever having any evidence of wrong doing. It's a tactic used by autocrats throughout history. Better hope no one campaigns on getting M & L.

Grec, to someone who gave $10,000 to a whiney, silverspoon nepo baby, I can't imagine you seeing any critical source being viewed as conservative. So I give that nod to you, without comment. For me, I try to find information that provides context along with a pro-side and con-side. One sided articles are a waste of time.

The only apparent partisan issue happening to Trump in New York, is the amount. If this is truly the second time being convicted of this same fraud, then the amount makes sense. Did you notice, Trump hasn't tried to wiggle with his buddies the Supremes...Yet

As to getting Trump, she may have felt the fraud settlement against Trump's University, $25,000,000 was not enough. The timing was 2018, I believe, her saying she was going to "shine a bright light into every dark corner of his (Trump) real estate dealings.” was also in 2018.

I'll give you that she sounds a bit like Tom Fitton, but her target is Trump instead of Hillary Clinton. Maybe Trump will have an email problem before it all over.

There is one person to blame for this mess, Trump. Funny how you say its political, I see nothing political in Trump sleeping with a porn actress and trying to hide the payment. This is a slam dunk case everyone involved is testify against Trump. His lawyer, her lawyer his accountant oh and Stormy. If there wasn't any evidence then Trump would want a speedy trial to use the verdict against Biden in November. This isn't the case at all Trump needs to delay delay delay every trial and hope for a win in November. When he loses his troubles get even worse.
