Well, hypocrisy is ok with them as long as you believe what they do. But if you don't worship at the alter of butt sex, transgender or abortion, it's not ok.

The judge doesn’t decide how many “strikes” are given each side. NY state law does.

New York Consolidated Laws, Criminal Procedure Law - CPL § 270.25 Trial jury;  peremptory challenge of an individual juror​

1. A peremptory challenge is an objection to a prospective juror for which no reason need be assigned.  Upon any peremptory challenge, the court must exclude the person challenged from service.
2. Each party must be allowed the following number of peremptory challenges:
(a) Twenty for the regular jurors if the highest crime charged is a class A felony, and two for each alternate juror to be selected.
(b) Fifteen for the regular jurors if the highest crime charged is a class B or class C felony, and two for each alternate juror to be selected.
(c) Ten for the regular jurors in all other cases, and two for each alternate juror to be selected.
3. When two or more defendants are tried jointly, the number of peremptory challenges prescribed in subdivision two is not multiplied by the number of defendants, but such defendants are to be treated as a single party.  In any such case, a peremptory challenge by one or more defendants must be allowed if a majority of the defendants join in such challenge.  Otherwise, it must be disallowed.

I don't doubt that. I am just countering what Trump posted. If he didn't know the NY state law, he is either ignorant or lying. Again. And trying to wind up his supporters with false narratives. He is not being treated unfairly by the judge thus far.

I think it's entirely possible he didn't know or forgot. But I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Not sure what he gains by lying.

Then why does he do it? You know EXACTLY what he gains by lying...he winds up his supporters. Now they can hate the judge because poor Trump is being persecuted and not allowed to strike everyone from the jury that he wants to strike. That's the narrative he wants out there.
 
Some of the conservative justices on SCOTUS questioned the solicitor general about the decision to use the anti-obstruction charge that was part of Sarbanes-Oxley in 2002 on J6 protestors. Libs on X are losing their minds telling the SCOTUS justices what their job is and how to do it. They are even Xing how laws work. It's hysterical. They are so afraid the SCOTUS will strike it down and undo hundreds of J6 convictions. They are most frightened that the J6 case against Trump will fall apart. LMFAOROL.
