That one scares me. China has balls, Putin just cannot afford it in my opinion. He can bluff but he can't finish. Again just my opinion.

I wouldn't assume this would be a walk in the park for the ChiComs. The British held on against Nazi Germany across a channel only 21 miles wide at its narrowest point. The Taiwanese have an 81 mile moat (at the narrowest point). They have fortified bunkers at every possible landing site, underground air bases, a 1.5 million man reserve force, and a modern Air Force. With proper support, Taiwan should be able to resist invasion. They only have to hold out for a few weeks before the US shows up. The PLA itself believes if they can't conquer Taiwan in two weeks, it will be game over for them (assuming US support). The only way China takes Taiwan is if they surrender due to threats and a lack of US/Japanese/Australian support, or China levels their cities with missile attacks. This would cost Red China trillions in rebuilding costs both in Taiwan cities and Chinese cities.

History. It is Russia. They speak Russian. But, the real reason is leverage. Leverage to keep Uke from joining NATO. Think of Russian military in Cuba. We would never let that happen.
Ukrainian was part of Russia and I don’t think if Russia takes it it would impact anyone here in the US.
Poland? That’s the red line for me.
Unfortunately, if Russia moves on Uke, Chyna will jump on Taiwan knowing the US can’t fight two major wars on two fronts.

Well, what we now have is China, Russia and Iran cooperating with one another. China has been supplying Iran anyway. Good thing Brandon removed sanctions from Iran who were going broke under Trump.
Blu that’s when 21 miles meant something, now it’s like 21 feet. You can’t compare WWI or II tactics to now. While the tactics or ideas are the same weapons are not. Rommel was a great tactician but weaponry changed and his tanks died on the supply vine.

I just read a headline that says Brandon is going to be more tough on Putin, not like during the 2014 Obama years during the Ukraine crisis. I call complete BS - you know why - because we still have US HOSTAGES in Afghanistan!!

What germany does is a bit of a shame imho .
They declare solidarity with ukraine but it gets more and more obvious this are empty words . They blocked defensive weapons delivery to ukraine ( to be nice to russia ?? ) and they try as best as they can to avoid any discussion about nord stream 2 - because they want start it running asap .
I fear germany is worried about stable european markets and own business with russia and not about ukrainian independence .
