Hello everyone, this unit at bottom of oil pan on mercruiser horizon Mpi where dip stock and oil fill connect to is dripping from bottom. I lost all oil in my motor and thought it was oil lines so I replaced them refilled with oil and couple days later bildge full of oil again. Does this unit screw into the pan? Can I replace it? Is it threaded? If so does anyone know what this part is called or part number? Pan looks in decent shape feels like there’s a bolt on bottom and I put a scope camera on it and a very slow drip. Thank you

That's the area that rots on a oil pan. Get a better look on it
I think your right.. it’s dripping from the nut under the banjo but pan could be rotted. Going to take it apart

I have a leak on my motor and had the same thing happen. One of the dipsticks tubes is lose because the previous owners mechanic did not attach the bracket to the manifold. With that said, im not sure if it's the pan (rot) or the dipstick tube. I'm actually pulling the motor in a week or so to change out the dripless shaft seal (its leaking). im curious to see what I find.
