Has anyone replaced their Northstar NS100 VHF radio on a 340 Sundancer? I have a replacement Raymarine 260 unit, but before I start wanted to see if there's any tips on how to approach this swap.

Did the same swap on my 320. The footprint on the "black box" is not the same so you will need to drill a couple of new holes. Angle drill will come in handy. The speaker on the Ray 260 is smaller than the one on the NS100. I mounted my speaker on a piece of Starboard and then mounted it over the existing hole. The plug for the mic fit the existing NS100 hole.

I replaced my NS100 with a Raymarine 240 unit. I got some 1/8" white board from West Marine and made a flange for the speaker (it is smaller than NS100 speaker). I got some gray paint from the hardware store that matched the gray of the Raymarine speaker and painted the new flange. Looks stock.
