I have a 2004 420, my Vacu-flush system isn’t working. It’s like there is no power to the system to flush the toilet. Any thoughts what to look for? There is no key on mine. The pump just keeps cycling after its flushed.

Obviously is not building vacuum. You either have something stuck in the duckbill valves, bellows is blown or the bowl isn’t holding water. How long have you owned the boat? If more than 4 or 5 years when did you replace the seals last?

There are several Vacuflush diagnostic threads on the forum that go through how to debug the problem you're having. As was mentioned, there are a few rubber pieces along the route between the holding tank and your head that would be suspect, pump bellows, duck bills, and the toilet bowl seal for starters. If you've never dug into the vacuflush system, I would suggest you search for Dometic Vacuflush on YouTube, there are some great video tutorials on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining these wonderful systems

Take picture before and during each phase of repair. I did not and I but in the duck bills backward on one side. Kitchen rubber glover are a good investment, the surgical ones tend to tear for me.

Purchase 4 duckbills about $15 each. Replace all of them, I just did this yesterday and got it done in about an hour. My 03 had never been done before. We never put TP in the toilet. Suggest you keep a spare set. Your vacuum system should build up pressure in about 45 seconds. A new motor and bellows will greatly increase how system works, I did this upgrade on previous boat.

I also watched BoatingWithBoogaboo. He does a few videos on the vacuflush system on a few sea rays. Worth watching. Helped me tackle my system on my previous 34.
