Right now, they have the best in equipment quality, integration, and capability. I like that they can use almost all of their devices independently or as a networked system and their WiFi/Bluetooth capabilities are very mature. The only thing I don't like is they have four data systems involved depending upon what device is being used; I think that is an evolution thing and still in place so older equipment can still be used in upgrades. Currently they are skinning that cat with their GX devices like the Cerbo GX; all of the networks including Ethernet, USB and NMEA 2000 can interface pretty much seamlessly through the Cerbo. This link https://www.victronenergy.com/media/pg/Cerbo_GX/en/marine-mfd-integration-by-nmea2000.html off of your link is interesting in that they show all of their devices on a sub network and that is then connected to the N2K backbone, interesting approach. Victron has really come a long way in a short amount of time. Their charges look like they are one of the best in the industry.

I didn't know that about the temperature data; batteries or other? - I just purchased the Cerbo GX and display with a couple of 1000 amp Smartshunts to upgrade my battery monitor and to get ready to move to lithium batteries.I do like the Victron equipment as well. One thing I wish they would support is the ability to display the temperature sensor data that’s plugged into the Cerbo GX on N2k displays.
I can open my phone to see those sensors via Bluetooth though.

Now that I think about it - I wonder if there is a NMEA 2000 PGN for battery temperature? Maybe that is the reason no temps...Connected to N2K the Cerbo GX (as I learned) does not transmit the temperature data to the MFD. The Battery and Shunts do show info on the MFD.
I temporally connected the CAT5/6 cable from the Cerbo to the MFD and I don’t recall if it displayed the Temp data.
With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi I can connect my phone and laptop and see the temp sensors as well as Shunts and Batteries.
I don’t have my tanks or Float switches tied in yet… but I am anxious to add the floats for notification purposes.
I do plan to permanently tie on the CAT5 Cerbo to MFD.
These boats and gadgets keep me working…

In reading the Cerbo manual I can't find any data differences between the ethernet connection and VE.CAN (NMEA 2000). Do you know?
Regardless, the Cerbo will be connected to the boat's WiFi router so that data is available remotely.
Thanks
Tom

Will Garmin allow the Cerbo's TCP/IP network port to be used both for internet and the Garmin MDFs? I don't think so because last time I tried to integrate a camera system, the Garmin uses their own secure IP address' and locked up in a DHCP environment by another source. So is it an either/or situation? When I mentioned temperature sensors I was referring to the inputs (4) for ambient temp sensors. Which I have two in the engine room and one in the salon.
This weekend, I will reconnect the ethernet connection and take a picture of the data from that source, curious what it displays again myself. The ethernet has its own Victron screen (I believe) but the N2k integrates into the configurable data pages of the MFD. See attached of the N2k info.

Look at para 4.2 in this - https://www.victronenergy.com/live/venus-os:mfd-garmin
Conversely the interconnect graphic in the Cerbo GX Manual shows a standard router with the MFD integrated....
One of the main reasons I went with the Cerbo is for the Victron VRM remote accessibility.
Did you connect the MFD directly to the Cerbo or go through an internet network router? If you went through your internet network router and have remote VRM access as well as the Garmin App running, then that will change my path.
Are any of you running the GUI Mods through the Cerbo? I am just getting into it but it seems to add a bunch of info. Not sure how much will show up through the Nema2K backbone.
The temperature sensors I have tied into my Cerbo did not show up previously through N2K. Hopefully they will with these GUI Mods.
Below first stab screen shot. There appears to be lots of additional info that can be added…

I'm not sure how I missed out on this thread. Oh wait...I had to go back to work
I've been running GUIMods for about a year, no issues. Always stable. I have a full setup. Multiplus Inverter/Charger, Tank 140 Cerbo GX. All networked and available on my Raymarine Amion Setup, and either local or remote through my cellular modem.
I've added the Ruuvi Temp tags for temp monitoring and those are very nice if your looking to monitor temps somewhere.
