I have a 2003 Sea Ray 320 Sundancer with less than 200 hrs on each engine. The port engine Volt meter register's a voltage reading of 12 VDC and the Tachometer is stuck at 1000 RPM's, the same as if they were both off. The engine starts fine, but I am thinking that it may be because I keep it pluged in while berthed keeping the batteries charged. This just started a couple of months ago. I doubt if both gauges have failed, but I do intend to try swaping the connections from the starboard engine to test it. Could it be an alternator problem, since both are fed from it?
