Hi all, my question is to people that own a Sundeck. I bought a Todd waste caddy in hopes to avoid the 25 dollar pump out fee at the station. Has anyone used a waste caddy to empty their porti potty through the fitting on the top of the port side? I can't seem to find a fitting that would screw in to the boat so that the pump can connect to. Any ideas?

That doesn't seem to be cost effective... the waste caddy retails for about $700 and you're looking to save $25 on the pump out. You would need 28 pump outs to break even. That's a ton...5 pump outs a season is on the high side so you're looking at recouping your money in about 5 years. Not to mention, where do you empty the waste caddy? That can't be free unless you pull a Cousin Eddie and empty the sh!tter in the sewer.

Overton has them they call them NozAll pump-out adapter they come either 1 1/2" or 1 1/4" then you would need a female cam lock fitting to get to pipe thread or a hose barb fitting. If this is what your talking about.

The nozall adapter threaded side is not wide enough. I need 1 7/8 wide and I can't find that. I see them where the 1 7/8 wide part is for the cam to connect but not to screw in. I got the caddy cheap off Craigslist. My porti potty is small so one day out I need to empty it.

why not upgrade it to a 5 gallon size?....I did that on a previous boat.....it really made a difference in extending the pump out time.........

Did you physically try the adapter? The deck plate size used on your boat is a standard size.

Another idea... convert back to a standard porta-potty (maybe upgrade to the 5-gallon model, instead of a standard 2-1/2 gallon model) and clean or cap your lines. You might even still be able to get a cap kit for your existing porta-potty (the potty/"holding tank" side). I think that would be the simplest thing for you to do - then you can dump the lower part of the potty in a toilet.

Yes, I bought a returned the fitting. The fitting fit on to the caddy but the threaded side was too small and would not thread in. Do they make a replacement fitting for the deck to make it smaller? I might just have to upgrade to the bigger one in the spring. I'd still like to pump out myself tho.

This whole pump out process seems like a huge PITA. so glad I'm close to open water and just go for a ride to dump my tank.
