:huh:Any one have water leaking from the refrigerator
after running frig rug just under frig on floor all wet
what is strange just the bottom of the rug is wet if i run my hands up the side carpet
that part of the rug is dry, just the botton of the floor.
cant seem to find source of leak. pulled the frig out but could not find leak
I know the frig makes water but were does it go ?

I have a 2006 240, there are few places to check for water. The refrigerator, ac (if you have that) and shower drain to the shower sump under the step. When the sump over flows, the carpet gets wet. Perhaps the float and/or sump pump are faulty.

I had the same problem this spring with my 06 240 and it turned out that the front starboard cabin window needed adjustment and was leaking. The water was running down the hull behind the seat cushions and ended up soaking the carpet. As with your boat...only the bottom of the carpet was wet. The sides were bone dry.

You can check this by sitting in the cabin and having a helper spray the boat with a hose. You can clearly see the water leaking in at the bottom of the windows.

A quick search on this site for "leaky windows" allowed me to quickly adjust the window so it didn’t leak anymore.

I had a similar issue 2 years ago, in the same location. As it turns out, it was a leak coming from the line coming off the fresh water tank to the supply line for the sink next to the refrigerator. Good luck.

Thanks for the help looks like i have some work ahead
unfortantly i was running the frig and ac/ all weekend

Looks like you've gotten some good advice. I just wanted to add (more as an FYI to help you figure things out - or maybe just to answer a question that you're wondering about) something in regards to the vertical sections of carpet not being wet. That carpet drains water from it very quickly. Unless you feel the carpet almost immediately after the water has run through it, it will be dry to the touch very quickly. In other words, just because the vertical section of carpet (directly above a horizontal section of wet carpet) isn't wet, doesn't mean the water didn't travel through that vertical section to get to the horizontal section.
