Without going back through the seven pages, is it the drive transistors that look to be the major common fault, or are there others? I saved the component data from one of your earlier entries (thanks for that) but won't be getting back to the boat until next Spring.
Im new here so trying to understand the fliw and responses....@speakerdude.....im assuming you meant yes i can send it to you, thank you so much!!Yup. Send it to me.
Hey Jim, i was visiting Florida last week and sent the board to you with a return envelope addressed to a friend of mine that lives there. Thanks again for taking care of this for me.Yes you may.
I have not a clue but that sounds good. I do know however thatthe two resistors on the side of the board will burn you as they get super-hot! Probably why the display doesnt stay on like the waste tank does.@speakrdude/Jim, do you see any advantage of upping the power dissipation capabilities of the 2N3906? Looking at specs, it seems that changing to a 2N2907A might take some of the strain off the gate. 'Just spit-balling here... https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/849/2n2907a-2577411.pdf
