Here's a couple of pics from yesterday. The boat was launched and put in a slip via tender so was all tied up by the time I arrived. Adjusted lines, hooked up electric and went through the systems to make sure everything was working as to be expected. Watching the weather like a hawk as we were scheduled to do our water test on Friday along with the mechanical survey, but given the gale force winds they are predicting for today and tomorrow, this maybe postponed until next week. Have to love springtime in Chicago and probably also why we usually don't launch until mid to end of April.

Great looking ride. I'm guessing that water is a cool 40, max? Lake Michigan on our side is right around 39-40 at the shore I do believe.

We're currently on the hook for 6-8" of snow tomorrow, winds gusting to 45. Nothing a 410 can't handle!

I know you're joking but would have no desire to test the waters so to speak!! We will hang tight and see how mother nature decides to let things play out. If anything having her in the water and most chores done will force me to take this weekend and get some stuff done around the house before the boating season gets into full swing. They keep switching our forecast from rain to rain/snow mix, to lake effect snowstorm, so will wait and see. As far as Ice, that's been gone for awhile.

Congratulations! I am sooo incredibly jealous right now it's ridiculous! We're buried so deep in the storage building, that it'll be at least the end of April before we splash.

Hah...same here. I'm about as far from a door as I can get this year. I was one of the first out last year. I think I'll be lucky to be in the water by the first weekend of May this time around...

If you don't mind me asking...are you at GIM? Seems like I've seen your yacht float past us before. We're down in slip 113.

Yes, sir. This will be our third year down at 190. We've very much enjoyed it. Yell at me next time!

I will try and watch for you. Name on our boat is "Tina Marie", and yes I got some big points for that one. We walk down your way often to get the wave runner's out. We'd probably walk down there more if they'd either open the restaurant, or do something food related!

Thanks guys and definitely don't be jealous. With the severe storms that are supposed to begin to blow through here tonight into tomorrow, would have preferred to still have been tucked away safe and soundl. Have to wait and hope she weathers these storms just fine. Mother nature has a sick sense of humor at times.
 
We're not jealous! Lol!

We are in as well! We went in on the 30th, of March! We're in Lake Erie, but the weather is supposed to be heading our way...

It's becoming quite awesome out there this morning. We've got about an inch of half frozen muck accumulated so far. Gonna be a real peach of a day...
