I have a 1989 6.5 Westerbeke ( 99 total hours on it) that has a Fuel issue and its acts like the pump is dead however removing it and testing it on the bench it works great. Installed it back and it will not turn on when trying to start the Gen. Checking Voltage, it shows 9.5 volts so there seems to be resistance. I rechecked and cleaned all seen ground wires and even added a jumper to ground. Nothing!
With no manual to refer to I wonder if there is a Fuel pump relay in the circuit. I can run the Generator on a external gravity tank ( starts right up) so its not the ignition or anything else. I need to get 12 volts to the Fuel Pump!
Any ideas out in Sea Ray land?
