I thought the photo looked photoshopped, too, but Comcast has a video showing the whale landing on the boat. Not sure if one can "photoshop" a video, but here's the link...

I saw the video on the news yesterday morning - and it looked pretty real. Breeched, came down with a glancing blow on the side of the boat and went back into the water. It shook the boat very hard. The news said something about them investigating to see if the boaters were harassing the whale. Not sure how you would go about harassing a whale...
