What am I missing here? Looks like a great Deal

I think it's low because of the power. You have the 6.2 and know how yours performs. Would the 350 MPI in this boat be underpowered ?

The bank just wants their money and they are willing to sell it for less in order to get it to move in this market.

I am not sure what they mean by "minimum bid" but it could be they are taking bids. I really don't like the 260DA without the spoiler. If you added that, a chartplotter, and new canvas that would likely set you back another $10-12K. And then of course you don't know what other options it has like a transom shower, sirius, TV etc. In the end it may not be such a great bargain and don't forget it is effectivley a five year old boat.

+1:thumbsup: my thoughts too.

Salt water, B3, no trailer & lets not forget........ If the P.O. failed to make the payments, did he keep the boat "well maintained'?

Im not saying its a bad deal right off the bat, but if you ask me, Dave S is pretty much The man when it comes to the 260.

Skip it and go right for the 410DA listed on the same page. Twin cats and a lift.

I am not sure I would agree that it is a 5 year old boat, but I always get suspicious when no pictures of the engine (and generator) are shown. I wouldn't be surprised if the generator option is a misprint.

When buying an auction boat, it is best to be careful.

And, just because they show the minimum bid at $31K, that doesn't mean that the bank will accept, that is only a number that the auction people place to request some "action"

I am not bashing the boat or the auction. However, if you are looking for a 260, I would certainly check it out. I just wouldn't get too excited until I had some more intel on it.
