What does this switch do???

I read the manual but cannot figure out what this switch does on my boat. I pushed it and it lights up. The manual says "Water System" but nothing about what happens when you push the bugger. Any ideas out there folks? It is the button above "ACC 2".

It turns on the pump for your pressurized water system. There should be a pump in your bilge located near your fresh water tank.
Do you get water from your faucets and water to the head?

I have a breaker in the cabin that turns on my fresh water pump and is marked accordingly. When my fresh water pump is on the light does not come on for the switch on the dash but if I puch the button on the dash, the light comes on. I played with it this weekend and could not hear it activate the fresh water pump either with the breaker in the cabin on or off. I don't think the switch has any effect on the fresh water pump as I use that system anytime I am away from the dock.

Mark, it's not wired to anything. I think these pod pads are universal for several model boats back in that era and may have controlled something on others, but, for the 340 it doesn't do anything.

Or like I found out...turns on the bow spotlight and control.

On my 1999 210 I wired a Heater Craftt hot/cold shower to a switch with that icon. My switch layout is a little different than yours, but similar. It was not wired to anything originally.

That switch does absoulty "nothing".

On my 280 it turns on the fresh water pump.
