What side is your trailer jack crank handle on?

For some reason, the crank handle on mine is on the passenger side meaning I have to get out and either go around the truck, or boat or climb over the trailer to drop the jack and crank it down to raise off the ball on the truck. Minor, but a pain in the butt!!!

On my bass boat, It is on the drivers side...get out, drop the jack, crank it down to get off the ball, get back into truck and pull away...EASY!

mine is on top of the jack.....that way the jack can be operated from either side of the trailer.....

If it's installed with u bolts then you can switch sides if it's welded or the mount is welded then you'll need to cut it off and have it refabricated to the drivers side. This should be done by someone who knows what they are doing as to not ruin the tongues integrity.

On mine, tongue wheel crank is on the starboard side. Boat winch crank is on the port side.

On mine the trailer wheel jack is on the truck driver's side. So is the winch crank. I never thought about it but it would be inconvenient if either were on the other side.

On my 1990 180BR with Shorelander trailer, the jack is on the starboard side... certainly would have been more convenient for it to be on the port side though.

My jack was on the passenger side and I hated it. It finally wore out, so I replaced it and relocated it to the drivers side.

Mine was on the sarboard side & and I moved it to the port side.
