I have a Westerbeke BCG 4.0 4kw 120 volt Generator, my AC is 16,000 with 2 Blower Units and the March Pump. It starts and runs the AC system fine. A 4kw should work out.
What size portable gen do I need to rent to test AC?

I have a 10k BTU unit in my boat and I can run it by itself on a standard 15amp outlet with the adapter. When I want to flush it out after a trip I simply stick the hose in the strainer and turn on the AC.
