Hello

I am just looking for information on what type of inverter I should buy for my boat. It's a 2004 280 Sundancer thanks!

How much do you know about Inverters already? They are a big drain on batteries, so if you don't have a generator, you'll need a good bank of batteries to run this off and still have power to start your boat. Keep in mind that if you do have a generator, that's the most efficient use of AC power but if you want to use it to charge batteries and have an inverter for quiet AC power there is something to be said for that.
I don't have a generator, but have considered adding a couple of batteries and a high quality Xantrex Pro1800

for limited use on the hook or at State Park docks without power.

I also assume you have a charger already on board but if you don't there is a Xantrex Charger/Inverter ProSine 2000

that detects AC power and will charge the batteries, and when disconnected from AC power can be used as and inverter.

I was more or less talking about a generator/inverter. Honda has a few models, the 2000 and 2400 and 3000. Anyone to help?

do a search on Honda generator and watch the fur fly
