What's it worth? Kohler 8eozd generator

I have a clean Kohler 8eozd that had the lower end rebuilt, but the head wasn't reinstalled. Everything is there and would be an easy project for someone that knows diesels, but I don't. If I wanted to sell it, what would be a fair price to ask?

I'd pay someone to put it back together and confirm it works 100%. Seems like you could get more money for one that can be run on the bench and proven functional...

That's something I was considering. I was just trying to see if it'd be worth it just to off load it and not worry about the details.
