Where are you guys getting your Westerbeke parts from?

I have the genny out of the boat so, want to do some tune up items.
I have to admit the 7-8 years I have had this boat, I've never done anything but change the impeller, oil and zinc.
Got those parts from Hanson but, there not inexpensive.
Its a 7.0BCG gas Westerbeke.

I heard tell that they are Mitsubishi motors. I have never found the exact replacements.

I haven't looked at gas parts from them, only diesel filters and impellers.

Check the above link. W'beke does not make engines. That's the key. Look for key markings and any numbers regardless of how insignificant they may seem on both the engine and parts. I got to the link by researching my distributor cap. My W'beke engine is a common small Mitsubishi 3 cylinder truck engine. FGP is not the only supplier.

I am going to pull it off (cap) and search for any numbers.
I don't mind feeding my addiction with money but, the prices are unreasonable.

Ex. A starter on sale is $793 plus shipping!!!!!
I don't need a starter but, if it were normal pricing I might replace it as a preemptive measure.
I'm OK with the $11 oil filter and the $48 impeller kit but, come on with the other stuff!

I've bought from them as well...they are a great vendor. They are unable to sell certain Westerbeke parts due to Westerbeke distributor rules and geographical areas...

Yeah thats what the website says but they always sent me stuff. Maybe I am just not ordering the 'correct' part for the territorial stuff to take effect but I have ordered all kinds of stuff so not sure.
