Boat Info
2003 SeaRay 220
Engines
2002 Mercruiser 5.0 MPI Alpha drive.
The marina installed an after market ignition switch and I have had electronic problems since. Can anyone tell me where to go to find the OEM part number on my boat? I want to see if I can find another OEM part and install it.

Seems you'll be looking for ((Sea Ray part number)) (item number 11) SWITCH, IGN STARTER ((1409366))

The key part numbers depending on letter you have/had are,
1449818 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "BLANK"
1403161 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "J"
1403179 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "K"
1403187 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "L"
1403195 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "M"
1403203 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "P"
1403211 IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "S"
1403229 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "R"
1403237 KEY, IGN W/RUBBER SR GRIP "N"
In which was found in here under a 2003 220 Sundeck, https://s3.amazonaws.com/srweb-pvt-...atic/parts-manuals/2003__2003-220-SUNDECK.pdf

Due to your 220BR parts guide didn't seem to list a key switch number though the parts guide shared the same switch panel part number 1586585, I looked up a 220 SD model.

Here's the 220BR parts guide for you, https://s3.amazonaws.com/srweb-pvt-...ic/parts-manuals/2003__2003-220-BOW-RIDER.pdf

All in which was located here for most Sea Ray models, https://baymarinechelsea.com.au/sea-ray-parts-accessories/

PS, see pages 25 & 26 in the SD parts manual. ;)

Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank you for the help!

Truth is, any halfway decent ignition switch will work. Sea Ray doesn't make ignition switches. Cole-Hersee, Sierra, etc. I've used those many, many times for customers.

While you may have gotten a faulty ignition switch (it happens with anything), there could be another issue going on.

But you certainly could get the "Sea Ray" one just to be sure. BUT, be careful where you buy it... many online places (like eBay, etc) will sell this for MORE than what it would cost you direct from your dealer!!!
