I have a 1994 330 Sundance that purchased 8 months ago. I have been all over this boat upgrading things. However, I cannot figure out how to get the stairway lights leading into the cabin to turn on, or the light under the rear deck seat. All the electrical components on this boat were in great shape with no corrosion and functioned. Any Ideas?

When entering the cabin at the top left of the stairs there should be a rocker switch labeled "courtesy". This switch should control several 12v bulbs on the stairs and just above the floor for ambient lighting. I have had to tap the stair fixture every now and then to get it to light. On the 330, you should have the same switch next to two others for the cabin and galley lighting.

I do have that switch. I thought I might have missed a switch someplace. The problem must be in the swith then. Thanks for the help!

Or it might be the bulb in the fixture. The fixture sticks out about 3/4" and it gets kicked and bumped a lot, which can cause the little bulb to blow. I replaced mine there (and under the closet/seat area with short flat LED strip lights. I also replaced the indirect ambient light strips under the shelving in the berths with long LED flexible strip lights since they are on the same switch. Now they can be left on a night and not draw down the batteries much at all.
