I have been looking around and pricing all over.

What did you pay at the dealer?

I priced the 703 and the 903. Both were roughly the same price, $2200 range.

The is the price range I get doing my research.

I'm wondering about buying the VV Link Multi Engine Kit and then adding the Simard screens as a more cost effective way for the install. However, I'm not sure about the NSS-x evo3 vs the GO-X in terms of features and functionality. The vv703 seems to be the NSS7 evo3 while the VV903 seems to be the Simrad GO9. Which makes the pricing the of the 703 and 903 almost the same. Also, wondering if mixing the units makes any sense. For example, get a the VV703 and adding the Simard GO9 screen?

anyone?

Any Simrad unit will show the vv app when connected to a link module. By the time you
Buy all the components you need to used the Simrad the cost will be close to the vv kit. The evo units are a little nicer than the go units. I found a vv502 kit on ebay for a good deal.

If you have an older model vessel view already installed, do you need the “kit” or can you just buy the “display” and have it plug and play? The “display” is about $1200 versus $2200 for the “kit.”

I do need the vvlink kit. I have a very old smartcraft installed.
