Why do I think I keep seeing this boat for sale

I agree, but you would actually be surprised how big Facebook Marketplace is now. Lots of people resort to this before Kijiji or anything like that. Problem with this link is it's in a private facebook group, I can't see it either @Blueone

@Blueone I haven't seen this exact boat before, the ad is in French also. You have seen this boat before? I mean the blue hull was quite popular back then, but to your point 50's are not that popular.
 
Same here, Boat Trader was a waste of $$, not one legitimate lead, just scammers and brokers. Also got some good interest from here - ClubSeaRay. Sold within a week of putting it on Facebook Marketplace.
 
I've seen that one listed in other places...YOLO. I really dislike the layout of those 50/51's. The bunks all the way forward seem silly to me. The 480 is perfect...a proper stateroom as far from the master berth as you can get without being in the engine room :):)

I had good luck with Craigslist when I sold my 340. I found my 400 on boattrader, private seller.

I have seen this boat a few times as well and I KNOW it says it in big letters. But I just realized that price is in canadian $s. That’s a good price. Are you buying @Blueone?

I really want a 480…. But I don’t want to start over upgrading….. I have my current boat perfect….. most everything is new….. mechanically perfect…. My wife is the pusher for bigger… but damn it’s a lot of work to get a boat the way you want it

Is this like snowflake safe space crap where you're no allowed to point out whats wrong with a boat (might hurt the owners feelings) or safe from oh I dont know - Pop Yachts?

My wife is pushing for something with a cabin that has real windows. Which likely means our next boat won't be a sundancer. She sent me a 395 Cruisers Yacht aft cabin for us to look at. I like my boat, and really lean towards the express cruiser layout but ultimately being on the water is enough for me, and if she finds a boat that makes her want to spend more time on the water, I'm all in.
 
We chartered quite a few boats with a bridge….. 90% of the time I was up there by myself….. for that reason alone I wouldn’t consider a bridge

They also seem considerably harder to handle solo over a cruiser. Of course I’ve never had an opportunity to confirm that.

I put my last three boats on Boat Trader, eBay and Facebook Marketplace. They all sold on Facebook.

I almost didn't put my 37' on boat trader as I thought no way she'd sell on Facebook... sure enough she did!
