Soak a rag in clorox, ring it out slightly and lay it over the cover. Leave it for half hour or so, works faster if in direct sunlight. Come out good as new. And you can do this with stuff you have laying around the house.
+1 just this year... I was tired of scrubbing them from the day I bought the boat. After trying a few different products I've added the following to my list of things to do this winter. For the money I can't imagine spending another 20 minutes on my knees up there scrubbing!

124 euros?? Holy crap!!https://www.vetus-shop.com/maxwell-stainless-steel-covered-windlass-foot-switch-p-2440.html
I replaced my original white covers with these stainless covers. No modification needed. Unscrew the old and replace with these. They look fantastic.
I bought mine from a company in CA. They were $63.00 (USD) each.124 euros?? Holy crap!!
Thats about 663 SOS Pads BTW, SOS Pads are also great for cleaning the shore power cords. Only thing I found to work with the least amount of effort when I had my 300DA. But to be honest if I still had the 300, I would have went with the stainless covers. It's only money...I bought mine from a company in CA. They were $63.00 (USD) each.
