The previous owner had purchased the boat new and the exhaust was modified at the dealer due to the "station wagon effect". It was covered under a warranty repair. He kept very detailed records for all work and this information was in the file along with pictures of the work. I have not seen this on another AJ or EC....but have seen it on other Searay boats. The 63 Super Sun Sport exhaust is similar. What’s with your exhaust? Why is it built out like it is?
Anyone had their trim tabs stop working? Mine just did. Fuse panel does not show a tripped breaker for tabs. Not sure how to track it down. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Have not checked. Makes sense. I will check.sure you have fluid?
I just rebuilt my actuators because they were leaking pretty good. If you run low on fluid you will get air in lines and they will not work.
Is there a reservoir someplace? I just launched yesterday. I wish I had known they were not working before it went in.sure you have fluid?

That was it. Fluid was real low. They work fine now. Thanks againUplander, Thanks for all the great info. I hope this is the issue. I will keep you posted.
Wow welcome good looking rig, I know hydraulic steering was listed as an option on our boats but I actually never met someone who did not have hydraulic steering installed from the factory, I guess there’s a first for everything, as per our boat test review that they did on our boats back in 97 and beyond, even with hydraulic steering they say it is a two-handed operation, not necessarily stiff but heavy. My 97 330 has Seastar hydraulic set up with sitex auto pilot it can hold its course but will wander with windage and current and eventually corrects. The one fun fact about hydraulic steering is there is no “center” for the steering wheelFinally got our rig in the water! Bought it last fall and had it trucked from Ontario so it's been a lot of work in storage all winter and a huge learning curve coming from twin outboards. That being said, when driving her to the house to tie up, I was shocked at how hard the steering was. Took it out for our first fish this past weekend and the autopilot would not stay engaged. Started looking deeper and found that it has an Intelisteer Octopus type T helm with a single cable running back to the rudder tie bar. Completely shocked that whomever put the Raymarine P70R and Garmin touch electronics on did not update to hydraulic steering. So, in summary, no course computer, no compass, just an Octopus helm with cable steering. Looking to get some opinions on which hydraulic system to go with. Looks like Seastar is pretty much the leader but looking to see what you have and why you like/dislike it. Thanks in advance and will post some pics soon of the boat and list out what we've done since we've had it in our possession.
Good job my friend looks fantastic, that’s some high-quality work enjoy your season!Boating season is here! Finally! And I just finished the winter project which took most of spring too. New carpet everywhere, new LVT flooring, converted the v berth/ dinette to a permanent bed, and was given the gift of having to buy a new A/C mid project. Happy boating all!
Thanks, Joey! Like I have said before I feel like a HACK when compared to what I've seen others do. Found a few other projects to address along the way: shower drain was leaking (a nightmare to access and can only if the A/C unit is removed), fixed the leaking hatch and wiper motors by removing and resetting with 3M 5200, and rebuilt the motor for the couch folding down (I actually added a fold down swinging leg to support the end furthest from the stairs and now you don't feel like you're falling out of it!). Good stuff all around. Let's keep these 330's/340's around. I have said it before and I'll say it again- no boat compares to the price per pound you get out of these things. People are astounded when I tell them it's a 33! as we all know it's really a 38, BUT when I'm paying by the foot it's a 33Good job my friend looks fantastic, that’s some high-quality work enjoy your season!
It's the switch on the dash. Been giving me problems for years just one of those things I never got around to fixing. One of those I just left the store and forgot to buy a new switch but to answer your question there is no relay direct power to the actuator itselfHi all
Need help where is the located forward and reverse Relay Module for windows Motor / Linear Actuator ?
Replaced in 2015 with Ambassadore Marine unit, Model 133-0112-CP. Super easy to replace.Has anybody switched out their galley faucet, looking for a replacement just not sure which one is a direct replacement.
