Totally agree. I won’t order it out anymore after eating it fresh.
When we were in the islands they make the conch salads per order on the docks.

and some random street guy walking up the sidewalk stops and asks my wife her favorite color…. $20 later we got this…. a penny :eek::rolleyes::(

We left around 5. Ate at Alonzo's (A&B downstairs). Noticed what happened to my favorite breakfast place back in the day...... RIP Damn Good Food

Okay that was mean…. Here is my street vendor experience ….. wife goes into bathing suit store because she forgot to pack all of her tops….. I said I didn’t have a problem with no tops …. She said ha ha….
Standing on the side walk I start talking to this wire sculpture guy. He says he can make any dog 3D from wire using a picture …. So I show him a pic of my daughters dog Teddy….. he starts going to town…. I said how much he say $10
We get talking…. Fascinating guy…. Looks like a homeless person…. But I am sure he had a Mercedes parked around the corner.
Turns out he is hired around the world for company conventions…. He once gave his parents a wire sculpture of the pope holding a cross to give to pope John Paul as they were going to the Vatican ….. the parents ended up meeting the popes driver and gave it to him….. a month later he got a letter from the pope thanking him for such a unique gift and told him it would be displayed in the Vatican …… right now he is working on a project for the Smithsonian…. ….. so who knows if this is true…. But at the end of the story I got a Teddy

So who won….. weird hair cut guy with a backpack bird cage with a budgie in it and a defaced currency penny…. Or a beloved dog sculpture with a Pope story ?… We both paid $20

Stop in "2 friend patio". Its right off duval st at the end by mallory square. Cute little place for breakfast and lunch and get to people watch.

That’s actually on my wife’s list….. we are trying to go to places we haven’t been to before…. So far so good
 
Also a great gift. Stop at end of duval st. They make a cowry shell with your name on it. Its a small little kiosk stand

When you get home, take them to the shop and make a collar for Teddy or just a tiny piece of wire to hang the "Tag" from. Then give it back to the wife.
 
Anyone going to be in KW the week of 3/21? Headed to SW Florida and maybe KW.
 
Look…. A backpack dog oven…. You throw some spices in there and run it would be shake and bake :eek::p
