I was wondering that while on the boat trying to figure it out, I couldn't figure out what that thing was for. I thought it had something to do with an old navigation system maybe.
 
There should be a toggle switch on the dash next to nav lights, mine says “spot” other could say “Acc”
 
On my 2001 380 DA, does anyone know what these snaps were for?

So, changed out most of the cabinet hardware this past weekend.

I recommend removing the doors, makes it so much easier. I used a 3/4” deep well socket to drive the Rosettes out. The drawers in the stateroom closet are not good, I recommend taking a dremmel tool or some other blade to cut the rosettes out, the cheap Formica cracked, the hole was super tight.

I found these to make the extensions. I need to cut them down 3/16” and should be able to make them work. Some of the drawers you will need to add washers for spacers, because the knob sits back too far. I will add a drop of blue lock tight at that time to help also. The original install had something to do the same thing…

This is the extensions I will have cut down for the 4 drawers in the galley
