My F150 that I recently traded had BlueCruise. It took a while for Ford to actually activate the system with a software upgrade. I actually had it for about 8 months. No long trips but I did use it on the metro Detroit interstates. It was pretty primative in my opinion. It would stay in the lane but the steering wheel was nervous acting and would stop working on tighter highway curves. My hands were always close to the steering wheel, if not loosely on it. No lane changing.
Now my GMC Sierra Denali has Super Cruise (GM's hands free version. Way more advanced compared to Ford. I can't compare it to Tesla. I have just done a little testing with it but the steering is way more stable. It also changes lanes as needed to pass slower vehicles. No surprise as it will vibrate the seat bottom prior to making a lane change. It will move over on its own once the pass is completed. A much better system that I will be much more comfortable using. A camera makes sure you are paying attention to the road.
And no, it doesn't play "We Will Rock You" when you turn it on
