Thanks. Both batteries that I put in today are new. I have heard that some people have one battery just for starting and two for cabin and appliances.

Happy Thanksgiving. At the sea trial of our new to us 2000 Sun Dancer 260 5.7, Bravo III the Captain said there was 1-1/2" of play at the drive and that it should be checked. It was checked and the pin was replaced. Still has that 1-1/2" of play at the drive. Is there cause for concern?

My so in collegeis a bit of a mechanic. I think $200 ought to do it. Thanks!

I am under contract for a 2000 Sundancer 260. It has a 5.7L. Owner was upfront about it needing a new ac/heat unit. I called a mechanic and he quoted me $1500-$1800 for the unit and $700 labor to install. Does that sound right?
