I could certainly try, it’s pretty tight between the bearing and the bracket/pinion-head/gear. This is a great idea though, thank you!

Thanks Phil, seems aligned with my trial and error efforts thus far. How much of the bracket can be dismantled without necessitating deconstructing adjacent parts? Is the bracket I’m working on modular and containing only the idler pulley and pinion assembly?

Can anyone have describe the distance/location of the pins? After four hours of labor and an hour myself, realized there are two… are they close in proximity? Also, does anyone know if there are any washers or anything, or is it just the one piece (pin and ring). Thanks in advance, Greg
