So after researching this, I am looking for two cables to a J Box add a Vessel View 8M0115080 then can I connect to the simrad with blue tooth or do I need a cable from J Box to Simrad and leave out Vessel View 8M0115080. Any Help from the pros would be great!!!

Hi Henry, I have a 280 Sundancer and have the same problem that you posted about many years ago.

I first replaced the touch pad...worked for a year and now I think the EIM is shot. So I am going to replace the whole thing. In the post, I believe you mentioned you had a schematic of the EIM, but couldn't figure out how to find it.

      Any recommendations?

      Many thanks for any input.

Good morning Henry. I just came across your post regarding the inline fuse going to the Lofrans Marlin windlass on your 02 280. I am hoping you may be able to provide a little insight into how you accessed/identified it. I have a 2001 280 Sundancer, and both foot controls stopped working at the same time. I looked briefly, but it is difficult to get contorted into being able to see up in the anchor locker. Thanks!

My combo mast front light, stopped working. The rear bulb is on w/anchor but no longer comes on with the nav/anchor lights. Bulb is good. Got 12v at each bulb when anchor button is pressed, back light on but front is out. When I press nav, R/G is on but neither mast light comes on. The stern light, below hatch at swim platform was on, but now is out. Is there a fuse for white lights? I'm stumped.

Henry, During my short time as a Sea Ray owner and on the site it appears you have a vast amount of experience and knowledge. I have a 2005 280DA and I am interested in ordering carpet for the cockpit. The PO did not have the carpet but the snaps are in place on the deck. I have looked aat the snapincarpet.com site and believe they would be my best option. Do you have an opinion on the actual carpet I should be looking at? I see they have a Sea Ray carpet recommended but not sure what the long term wearability would be. Any help would be appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Eddie

      Hi Henry,
Did I remember when you were at our marina that you craft custom cockpit tables or knew someone who did? We are looking to have one made for the JVIII. I hope you are looking forward to a launch soon.

Hi Henry, It's been a while. I am on a mooring this year. I am liking the idea of putting fender holders on the railing as you have. Do you have any info on the model you have on your boat?

      Thanks,
      Tony

      Hi Henry,
Four weeks out of surgery. Getting stronger each day. P/T three times a week and it is showing. Walked the 34 steps down to the pier and no cane. Been watching that hurricane on the Nat. hurricane web. I think we are ok here by you may get some winds. Going to buy an inflatable this winter. Any ideas?
      Take care,
      George

Hi Henry. Boat in the water yet?
While you online, do you have alpha or Bravo drives? I have alpha and the anodes are wearing too fast. Suggestions?
