Hey guys,
I have a survey scheduled on Wednesday on an 07 44DA with QSC 500’s and would like to know if there is a filler cushion(s) for the cabin couch, once it is pulled all the way out as a sleeper and if so, where does it get stowed?

Thnx,
Steve

I don't think my 44DA had a filler, but if there was one I would guess it would be stored behind the couch. I never pulled mine out, except to replace the "grabbers" that were broken, I think it only came out 5 or 6".

Yes there are fillers…the are underneath the two covers at the base….once you pull out the seat you will see them….they have velcro on them to hold the fillers

From front (near) to back...

Base cushion. Back cushion. Filler (stowed behind "couch" when folded up.

Or did you mean this one?

Fillers are stuffed underneath when you pull it out.

When you pull the couch all the way out look towards the back at the exposed area behind it and you'll find two panels that lift out. They aren't as obvious as other panels on the boat. Under those panels is where the cushions are stored.

I say this with great authority but for the first 9 years of ownership I assumed it didn't come with filler cushions until another 420 owner pointed them out. Doh!

Good luck.

I did find the salon cabin filler cushions beneath the pull out seat, thnx!
Unfortunately, the bow cushion and helm cover that the boat was optioned with are MIA. My canvas guy going to be busier than he already is, between replacing those, the new glass above the windshield and rear enclosure.
The PO changed out all of the lights to LED, but I can’t get the led fixture, that lights up the face of the breaker panel in the cabin to work. Can someone tell me if I’m missing something, before I take the cabinet door to the panel off and unscrew the panel to get it to hinge open and give me access to check the connection to the light?

You should have a switch marked “Indirect” beside the steps into the cabin. That switch lights up the little lights on the steps and the little worthless light at top of the breaker panel…..

That switch does work the step lights. Going to have to test the voltage going to that light. Since you state that it’s worthless, I’m assuming that it’s there for show… so that it could be seen behind the glass door that covers the panels.
Has anyone ever upgraded their breaker panel light to something more functional? That area seems to not be well lit with any other existing lighting.

If your light is as worthless as mine you'd have to open the door, find the light and look at it to tell if it's on.:(

Does anyone know how to pull out the salon sofa to make a bed? Mine is stuck, I assume that it does slide out? Thanks

It pulls out, try pulling from underneath on either side of where the table post is. Its held in with two or three "10 lb catches" the same that style that hold the cabinet doors closed

Thank you! I will give that a try tomorrow. I didn’t want to pull too hard and break it!

Thanks lots of great info on this forum!
