Nice catch. My twin 5.0 efi run no hotter then 170

My 454s running at 30mph and 3400 rpm. Temps a tick over 170.

Hate to say this but. 1 of the things my teck told me was to also check my flappers. Could have melted off and the small metal piece could go down your y pipe and get stuck. Causes back pressure and loss of power. Easy check. Take rubber boots off riser, elbow off and flapper is right there. Just a thought. I over heated 1 time and blew a boot. Pulled out of water and drive off. Metal flapper was resting at eghaust port at drive.

The gauges are off they are not running that hot

The left temp sensor was replaced by the previous owner with incorrect one
